King Street East

I have two rooms available in my house in the East end of Hamilton. One room is a bit smaller with a closet, and the other is a bit larger but without closet space. The house is fully furnished in all common areas - the main floor is an open concept kitchen/living/dining area with a dishwasher. There is one bathroom on the upper level. Laundry is in the basement, there are 2 available parking spots, as well as a back patio & yard with a BBQ.

We are within walking distance from a Metro, Shoppers, convenience store, Pet Valu as well as the Red Hill Valley trail that runs from Albion falls to the Hamilton Beach strip. The house is also very close to the Red Hill Pkwy if you’re a commuter!

I am a 30 y/o woman and I work 9-5 remotely (I usually work from home, but sometimes will work from a cafe or a coworking space). Some of my hobbies include running and walking on the red hill trail systems, doing yoga, reading, taking pottery classes, & doing other various crafts. I spend a lot of time out with friends in the evenings, or occasionally will stay in and read a book or watch a movie.

There is also a 9 y/o chihuahua who lives here named Mimi, so looking for someone who’s open to living with a small dog! (You’ll just have to check before you sit down on a pile of blankets, she might be burrowed inside there). I’m not against other pets moving in, but would want to do a meet & greet prior to move-in date.

Ideally I’m looking for someone who’s excited to share a space, someone who is proactive about keeping our space tidy, and who has similar waking/sleeping schedules to me. I’m sober, so while I have no problem being around alcohol occasionally or having it in the house, if drinking is a big part of someone’s life, we are probably not a great fit!
