Looking for a long term roommate to fill the second largest room in a four bedroom apartment. Can fit a queen size bed and a medium sized desk + dresser with ease, with access to a small closet as well. If you have lots of stuff, a twin or double sized bed is recommended.

As for the common areas, apartment is furnished with an in suite dishwasher and washer/dryer and a large kitchen with plenty of counter space. There is one shared bathroom and one bathroom in the master bedroom that you can use if you knock first.

Apartment itself is a basement suite, so it stays cool in the summer and is extra cozy in the winter, with a large window in the common area that keeps it beautifully lit.

Area is centrally located about a ten minute walk from downtown, and in walking distance to a convenience store, hair salon, rotary park, the hospital and several restaurants. As for transport, there are always free parking spaces in the lot (unassigned) and two bus stops that go north and southbound less than a minute away. Even without a car you will have no trouble getting around most spots in the city in under 20 minutes.

You would be living with myself and my brother. My name is Fitz and I am a 28 year old transgender man. If this is an issue, click away now. I work part time in a print shop and part time as a freelance artist. My brother’s name is Benton and he is 23 years old, an LGBT ally and works as a cashier. To any non-smokers: we both smoke cannabis on occasion, but never indoors and we are mindful of the smell. We are both very nerdy and very quiet and tend to keep to ourselves for the most part, but we like making new friends as well. Gamers™ will get on well here.

Neither of us have any pets, but we both love cats and are open to the right kind of dog. (Must be quiet and no larger than a medium size.) Landlords do require a pet deposit of $200 up front and an extra $25/month. We had a cat once and paid the deposit already, not sure if they would make us pay it again- but in the interest of being up front I figured I would mention it. You would be 100% responsible for these additional fees.

I’m far from perfect, but I like to keep things reasonably clean in the common areas, and will ask that you pitch in with chores every now and then. What you do in your room is your business, and all that I ask is that you try not to hoard dishes and that it is deep cleaned before you move out.

If you have any special dietary needs we would keep our grocery bills separate and in the interest of financial fairness, food would not be shared. However if you are not picky we can split the grocery bill in thirds as well, and then everything is free game. TL;DR: if you paid for it, you get to eat it! And if you have an addiction to ordering in like we do- you are more than welcome to split the skip bill as well!
