Details: A shared one-bedroom apartment in Beltline (605 13 Ave SW), downtown Calgary (I separated the living room by a panel and live there while you will have the only bedroom).
I am looking for a mature, considerate, and responsible working professional (or student) roommate to share the place with. The monthly rent for you is $850. Everything is included in the rent; heat, water, electricity, and internet. The security deposit is $250 for you. I also need a $750 bank check to keep (it won’t be cashed unless you break the “Roommate Agreement” that you get to be enrolled and signed: no party, no loud talk/music after 11pm, moving out earlier than what was agreed, skipping cleaning the shared spaces). Parking is available upon request ($90-130/month), though there could be some waiting time for that. The room can available from July, 2023.
The unit is on the 16th floor with a spectacular city view! It is a one-bedroom apartment that has been recently renovated. The bedroom (where you live) has a decent size for one person, with new laminate flooring, and a spacious closet. The kitchen, bath, and in-suite storage are shared.
The amenities include underground parking; a gym; a party room; an outdoor lounge deck and BBQ patios, and card-operated laundry on the second floor. The building is located at the center of the popular and desirable Downtown / Beltline neighborhood, where you can easily walk to the train station or to 17th Ave. Situated steps from grocery stores (Safeway), and endless restaurants/cafes/bars.
About the roomies
I am a respectfully clean person; I hope the other person is as well. The building is pet-friendly, though I am not comfortable with it. Myself, I am a working professional in my 40s. I enjoy chatting and being social. I socially drink and smoke, not at home though.
