Beautiful and huge (1000 square feet+) Furnished 2 bedroom apartment in historical low-density building.

Located in Bankview area close to beltline, downtown, and Mount Royal University with easy transit access. Well kept and beautiful home with high ceilings, laminate/tile/wood floors throughout, and many, many windows. Would have entire bedroom to self, and it can come with near-new IKEA Curtains and Twin Size Loft Bed and Mattress (all purchased in May 2023) for a modest price. The living and dining areas are already furnished, but there may be room for some other small furniture items if needed. Lots of storage space in shared hall closet, entryway, and kitchen. Coin Laundry (we have a drying rack so you can air dry your clothes after washing).

Water included; heat, electricity, and wifi not included, those monthly utility bills are split equally between roommates.

Available to join the lease on November 1, however there is room to negotiate moving in as early as October or September, depending if we find the right fit.

In search of a woman to rent my old bedroom, as I am moving out and my friend Vanessa (woman as well) needs someone to join her on the lease and I agreed to look for a replacement roommate. Cleanliness and respectfulness are of top priority, as Vanessa is extremely lovely and considerate and deserves someone nice to room with. Must have funds sufficient to pay rent as well as utilities (those can be discussed in an interview) and personal groceries. Must also plan to spend some time at home and be sociable with Vanessa - she is not looking for someone who rarely is at home outside of work hours.

I am moving in with my boyfriend so that is why Vanessa needs someone to join her. She is 24, from Ireland living in Canada since last summer, works in Social Work and Childcare, and enjoys boardgames, exploring the city, reading, hiking, canoeing, and swimming. Vanessa is Vegetarian but does not mind having someone who does eat meat so long as they don’t question her lifestyle choices. She is left - leaning politically and very LGBTQ friendly and accepting. Ideally someone who shares similar political ideals would be best, as well as someone who can respect her introverted tendencies as well as her social side.
