3 bedroom townhouse in Bowness. Bowness was formerly its own town and became amalgamated into Calgary as it expanded. The neighbourhood is situated right next to the river and parks. The townhouse is a 3 minute drive from Superstore and a 10 minute drive from the University of Calgary. The house itself has a balcony and a washer and dryer.

I’m offering a sort of hybrid home-stay situation. I have spent a lot of time with international students. In the past, I worked as a international student assistant while attending college. Some of the people I met during that time, I am still friends with today. I understand how daunting and alone one can feel when coming to a new country. I’d like to help those feel welcome. In a traditional home-stay arrangement, the “home-stay parent” usually provides 3 meals a day. Unfortunately, I am not retired and still have to work so I would not be able to provide that. However, I am capable of assisting with English language skills and as a local, I can show you around! I am very much into environmentalism and sustainability. I love to hike and camp. I also do indoor bouldering and enjoy doing art. As for my personality, I can be silly and weird but I am friendly. I like having my alone time just as much as I like being social.

It is not a deal breaker if you’re not a international student. I am still open to renting with non-students and locals.
