One vacancy on the upper level of a large, communally-oriented home (modeled in the spirit of an “ashram”) in Beechwood (very close to UW). The room is furnished, and most basic house supplies are provided as well, including laundry. Some of the other amenities here include a sauna, steam shower, large gym/meditation/yoga space, and a beautiful backyard space with plenty of trees and birds. We have quiet hours of about 10 pm - 8 am (which is important!).

Quiet, mature, and clean housemate preferred (single occupancy)! There is also the possibility of work exchange opportunities within the dynamic of the house to reduce monthly rent for those wishing as well :)

We have a mix of co-ed long-term housemates, 1 room that’s listed on Airbnb (to allow guests to experience this unique space!), and this vacancy. We also have my friendly dog, a mini-bernedoodle named Majnun.

I’m a Yoga practitioner (who very much sees Yoga as a way of life, as is the original intent), for whom managing the house in a clean, organized, and responsible manner is a priority (and continual practice)! I also help take of my dad who has Parkinson’s at another “sister residence” in the same neighbourhood.
