Sherbourne Subway! OCTOBER 1! Hello Future Roomate! Come message and chat! This is one of the very rare opportunities to live in a house that is actually downtown. Literally steps away from everything (subway, and groceries) and no wasting your time in condo hell elevators, etc..

We have a furnished bedroom (queen bed, dresser, closet, desk) available on our main floor of the house. There are three other bedrooms on the top floor , totalling 4 bedrooms. We have shared bathrooms. We have laundry, high speed Internet, a small backyard, living room, a bit of a front yard and we are across the street from groceries and the subway. The location is amazing, we are right on the subway line but truthfully walk everywhere….we’ve often rented to IlAC or coop students but also young working professionals.

There are three male roomates and one female roomate as well as our Beagle, 1 Senior Cat, and 5 turtles.

I’ve been living here for ten years and we’ve always rented our extra bedroom. We are used to living with others and that means keeping an eye on things and keeping them tidy.

Our ideal roomate is responsible around pets (can’t leave food laying around, can’t let dog run out of the house). The general hours of the house are 7am-11pm for most of our schedules. Because there is a bedroom on the main floor and people that sleep below and above the kitchen, it is necessary to be quiet in kitchen during sleeping hours.

We have a bunch of simple rules that we can show you around if you have never shared spaces before. Mainly that the kitchens and bathroom take an extra minute in to keep tidy.

There are three bedrooms upstairs: Most important: We have a medium sized dog (Beagle). He’s very friendly but it is soooo important that he gets no human food. He will love you without food. It’s also super important that the food is not kept somewhere where he can get to it etc. Such as nothing left in garbage bins etc.

We have 1 senior cat too.

Bedroom 1: Me and my partner. We are the first ones up around 6:30 am for dog stuff before work and are generally out of the house Mon-Fri 8-5

Bedroom 2: Daniel. Works from home. Mostly in his room. Almost never see him except around dinner time and coffee time.

Bedroom 3: Adrian. Combination of working from home or fieldwork. Likes to cook, breakfast lunch and dinner at home.
