Gorgeous bright furnished 17’ x 9’ room with huge private walk out 17’ x 6’ balcony overlooking a ton of nature for rent effective Feb 01, 2026.

Double bed, desk, wardrobe, and drawers. Also has a lounging area with a couch that turns into a Futon bed.

Includes unlimited high speed WiFi, laundry. Shared 1.5 bathrooms and kitchen with landlord. Tenant has their own toilet.

Close to 401/ Simcoe and the bike path. Bus stop at end of street takes you up Simcoe, right to Durham College. Foreign students welcome. I have surround security cameras and motion detection flood lights. It is a very safe, family oriented neighborhood surrounded by nature. The conservation park is right behind us.

I have 2 little dogs, I am very clean, I love gardening (flowers and veg.) I have a beautiful home with beautiful rooms and I like to keep it that way so partying students need not apply. I clean my home with vinegar and natural products.

The kitchen is huge and bright with lots of storage so sharing it has never been an issue. Washer and dryer in the basement. A 4 piece bath on 2nd floor and a 2 piece on main.

We are surrounded by deer and bunnies. We get lots of birds so being an animal lover would be great.

I work Mon-Fri business hours so it MUST be quiet after 10 pm Sun-Thursday.

Single occupant preferred.

I rent to men or women. Pets-would consider a dog upon meeting and breed. Reptiles are fine too. No cats or rodents due to allergies.

Proof of employment and 3 references required. Both will be checked.

ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKERS. I am highly allergic to cigarettes.
