Looking for a responsible and clean roommate to join our house of young professionals. We are a diverse group of individuals with various interests. However, we are all respectful of each other, the home, my large dog and spoiled cat. It is expected you contribute to the house by completing one small, assigned chore every week. The house also follows a quiet hours system to respect everyone’s schedules. Quiet hours are 10pm - 6am, Sunday - Thursday and 11pm - 8am, Friday and Saturday.
The house is in a safe, quiet neighbourhood surrounded by parks and is only one block from Pacfic Spirit Park - perfect if you’re a runner or like nature walks! We are a 5mins drive to UBC and close to buses #7, #49, #41. There are also usually evos within walking distance in the mornings and evenings. We are a 420 friendly house, but we ask that smoking only occurs in the backyard.
The bedroom that is available is in the basement and you will share the bathroom with one other individual. Rent is $1000/month and includes utilities, wifi, smart TV in the living room, cleaning supplies, and toilet paper.
Roommates are all in their mid 20s to early thirties. They work in policy analysis, mechanical engineering and social work. We have a total of 7 rooms. Rent can be negotiated down a few buck in exchange for work around the house.
