Gorgeous, furnished bedroom with queen bed, in large, new luxury modern-farmhouse-style, four-bedroom home.
Has a walk-in closet and its own private en-suite bathroom, with heated floor. Large rain shower, no bathtub. Nice outlook from the window.
If you prefer unfurnished, or semi-furnished, contents can be removed.
No bills to pay. Fast wifi, and Netflix, Prime, Plex and Roku are available on the large TV in the sitting room.
THE HOUSE Bright, airy, spacious, beautiful custom-built home. 4,000 square feet above ground, plus the basement, so LOTS of space. We can discuss if you need to store anything in the basement.
You’d enjoy the entire home, except for the bedrooms/bathrooms of others, and my study on the main floor. That means you’d share a fully-equipped chef’s kitchen, dining and sitting area on the main floor, the laundry room (main floor), and the home gym in the basement – basic equipment supplied e.g. yoga mat, exercise ball, steps, free weights, etc. I’m working on assembling an elliptical. There’s a ping pong table, too.
You’d also enjoy the outdoor spaces. The back yard is encircled with cedar fir trees and is private year round. There is a gas BBQ, covered patio and covered deck for your enjoyment complete with dining table/chairs, sun loungers, whicker sofa and chairs.
THE NEIGHBOURHOOD This is a very pleasant, quiet, safe, and leafy neighbourhood. You can park on the driveway or on street, right outside the house. A lovely park and trails is steps away. It’s a15 minute walk to Ancaster Village with its shops, salons, performing arts centre, pubs, spas, library, and dining. Waterfalls, (Tiffany Falls, Spencer’s Falls, etc.) and access to the Bruce Trail, are close by. There are cinemas, and “big box stores” 10 minutes away by car.
GETTING ABOUT Bus stop at entrance to the neighbourhood. Downtown Hamilton, Westdale Village, Dundas core, McMaster University and hospital, highways (403, Lincoln Alexander Parkway), Go Bus Station are all a short drive (15 mins approx.) Nearest Go Train is Aldershot, which gets you into Toronto in 1 hr.
I own the house and have one female roommate currently, who is a quiet, considerate, very pleasant young working professional.

I am a positive, outgoing, humourous person, interested in lots of different things, esp. travel, tennis, performing arts, keeping fit. I am social, but know when to give people their space and I enjoy my own quiet time, too.
I’m not into parties at the house, but roommates can have visitors, and we can discuss.

I have a small, spayed, toy Spaniel dog, (12lbs), who is quiet and friendly. Most of the time you won’t notice she’s in the house, though she does announce the arrival of visitors. I keep her on the main floor.
I’m looking for roommates who, like me, are considerate and honest, and who will become part of a harmonious and happy co-living environment.
This is a very nice set-up here. It would appeal to those who appreciate comfort, calm, a very pleasant environment, with a lovely sense of light and space, and who prefer not to live alone, or be subterranean in a basement.
