The building is a fourplex, and it is a south-facing corner unit. Very bright and sunny unit. It is a 6 minute drive to 17th Ave and 3 minutes from Marda Loop. The closest LRT is Sunalta about a 25 minute walk, but there are bus stops nearby, including the 6 bus. I have one sweet and friendly cat, but no other cats are permitted.
The house and your bedroom are fully furnished. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking pots and pans, utensils, etc. I have extra towels and bedding that can be used as well if you don’t have your own. All you need to bring is yourself and your clothes. The room will be ready to move in on June 1st. Your room has a queen bed, TV, dresser, bookshelf, and desk and chair. Shared kitchen, living, bathroom, and laundry. The unit has full-sized in suite washer and dryer. Street parking included free of charge. Firepit available for use in the backyard (must use your own wood). There is also a barbecue on the deck available for use. All utilities and Internet are included. The neighbors in the building are lovely, and we are all very close. Pets negotiable. The deep freeze next to the closet in your room is for sale and hopefully will be gone soon, so you don’t have to worry about that.
I am very clean and organized and I need my roommate to be the same. I take pride in keeping a clean and tidy home and expect my roommate to split the housework 50/50 with a cleaning list or schedule. We are all quiet in this building and need someone who is quiet as well, however I love to play games and watch TV. A bit about me: I have lived in this unit for 17 years. My husband just recently passed away, so I am looking for a roommate for the first time in many years. I am a smoker and a drinker as well.
