About the room

New roomate accepted a job elsewhere so now I’m urgently looking to fill in a spot for September. We are looking for a roommate in their 20-30’s to share the upstairs space of a 3 bedroom house for Sept 1, 2026 (you could move in immediately as well, if you prefer). Rent will be $950/m everything included with a $475 damage deposit. This will be for one private room in the house - and no pets. The room has a bed and a desk, but we can clear them out if you prefer to bring your own stuff. The neighborhood is a quiet cul-de-sac located in between the Aquatic center and the highway, and is a few minute walk to VIU as well as buttertubs marsh. The house is shared with me and another guy. We like to keep a tidy house and would ask that our new roommate do their share of basic chores. We do have a nice hangout spot in the basement/garage that could be put to use for get togethers. We also have a small home gym that can be used. The available room is 8.5 X 11 ft, not including the closet - with a new(ish) carpet.

Please include at least 2 references. Please provide damage deposit upon finalizing.

About the roomies

Two guys in their late 20’s/30’s. We are very chill and easy to get along with. I sometimes like to occasionally host game nights and get togethers with friends (the garage is perfectly built for such things), but will always work with peoples schedule and give an early notice!
