Shaiden's room

The room is in a shared 2-bedroom walkup apartment. It’s on the second floor of a converted two-story house and the downstairs neighbours are lovely. The room gets great views of sunsets. We are across the street from a family-friendly park and walking distance to most amenities (grocery store, tienda, takeout restaurants, hardware store) and to Hamilton’s hip downtown.

I am on the lookout for a new housemate. I am once again excited to live with another human who is stoked on life, mutual aid and communal living. I’m a nearly-fourty self-employed force of nature and dog caretaker. After a long day at work, I like to decompress by cooking while listening to a podcast or loud music or by going out and doing something active. Luckily, the apartment is very long and the music from the kitchen doesn’t travel all the way into the bedrooms. When I’m home, I spend most of my time in the kitchen or in my bedroom, with little stopovers for relaxing in the living room. This home hosts one sweet dog who is open to living with a cat who has experience living with dogs. No other dogs, please. Ideally I’m looking for someone who works outside of the home at least one day/week, and who is willing to help me occasionally with dog care. Being 2S & LGBTQIA+ positive is a must.
