About the room
The unit is situated on Indian Road, nestled between Roncesvalles Street and High Park a great neighborhood with ample amenities. The apartment’s entrance is on the ground floor. Ascend to the second floor, you’ll find the spacious living room and kitchen area. The third floor has two equally large bedrooms and a generously sized bathroom in between, with a skylight window that adds natural light.
Additionally, my bedroom opens onto a porch that you’re welcome to enjoy. Thanks to its east-west positioning, the unit receives abundant sunlight throughout the day. Its proximity to High Park allows you to get soothing sounds of nature, while just a short stroll away, Roncesvalles offers an array of local shops and conveniences.
Street Parking is available if you are driving. Equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher, the unit is in complete shape.
About the roomies
I’m Baris, I’m 35, and potentially your future roommate. Originally Turkish, I’ve had the opportunity to live in several countries since childhood including Brazil, Mexico, and Italy. For the past seven years, I’ve called Canada home. I work as a concept designer in an office near Pearson Airport. I typically drive to the office throughout the week, but I have the flexibility to work from home, particularly on Fridays.
I’m an avid outdoors enthusiast, enjoying activities like camping, biking, swimming, climbing, road trips, and hiking just as much as I appreciate cozy nights watching movies, playing video games, reading, or engaging in board games. I really like being tidy, and value cleanliness. It’s important to me to live with someone who shares these traits. I’m also very approachable, inquisitive, and respectful. I value the potential to form a friendship with my roommate.
I have friends scattered across West End Toronto, and we often meet up on weekends for various activities. While the house is suitable for hosting gatherings, it’s worth noting that as the building is divided into three units, we need to be mindful of noise levels after 10 pm to avoid any potential complaints. Large late-night parties aren’t ideal in this setting—just a heads-up! Looking forward to potentially sharing this living space with you!
