About the room
I am hoping to rent out the second bedroom for fall semester only(August/September to December). My sister will be moving in in January, so the lease time cannot be extended (although there is a possibility you could move in earlier/ sometime in July, depending on when). The lease length would be ideal for a student finishing up their last semester. I am looking for someone to move in either August or September.
The building is super close to UofA North campus, as well as the University LRT/bus station. There is also a Safeway about an 8min walk away. The apartment is 2 bed/2 bath. You will get the main bathroom to yourself, which is pretty spacious and has a good amount of storage. The kitchen and living room spaces are shared with me and come furnished. There is also in-suite washer/dryer (woohoo!!). All utilities are included in the rent, and internet will be split between the two of us ($40/month each).
The bedroom is a decent size and has lots of closet space. There is currently a double-sized bed in there, as well as a desk (see pictures). The desk and/or the bed can be taken out if you have your own.
Unfortunately, the condo board doesn’t allow pets, so I won’t be able to take anyone with dogs or cats. There is also no parking available. Also, the building is not super accessible, as there are no ramps or automatic doors in the entrance, and the front entrance is rather tight, so a wheelchair/mobility aid might be tricky to maneuver in the space.
**I put little red stars on the floor plan marking the room and the bathroom you’d have
About the roomies
My name is Kenzie and I am a History Major going into my fourth year in the fall. I am pretty quiet and don’t have a lot of people over, but I am totally fine if you have people over. I like to keep my space pretty clean, but I’m pretty laid back when living with other people. Although I try to keep shared spaces clean for my roommates, I get not everything is always gonna be tidy all the time so I won’t get angry with a bit of mess. I’m not fussy about much––as long as you respect the space (and me :)), we should all be set! I’m always down to make a new friend, so you don’t have to worry about having an awkward “I can only come out of my room when she’s not here” vibe while you’re living with me. I like to bake, so you will be offered cookies and cake regularly.
