The furnished bedroom is on the second floor of a large, beautiful, single-family heritage home on a small, quiet street in the very safe neighbourhood of Fairfield. The house has mostly hardwood floors and your bedroom faces west (back of the house) and includes a double bed (with bed sheets, pillows and a duvet), an office chair and desk/table, a 43“ TV, a double closet, a pine shelf/storage and a bookshelf.

You will be sharing a fabulous dry kitchenette with one other roommate. This room offers an eating/sitting area, an apartment-sized fridge, two hot plates with w/double burners, a microwave, a toaster, a countertop oven, a kettle, a single-serve coffee maker, and dishcloths. You will be provided with your own pots & pans, utensils, dishes and glassware. There is also a double closet for more storage. Across the hall from the kitchenette, a kitchen cabinet and sink have been installed in the main bathroom for your use. The 3-piece bathroom on the main floor (shower only) will be shared with one roommate.

The rent includes everything: heat, hydro, water, internet, monthly light housekeeping in the common areas, and use of a washing machine; we do not have a dryer. Your room has a retractable clothesline, or you can hang laundry in the basement. Residential street parking is available only. No smoking, no vaping, and no guests.

Excellent Location: It takes less than 5 minutes to walk to Cook St Village and less than 20 minutes to walk to Dallas Rd, Beacon Hill Park or downtown. UVIC is 15 minutes by car or 22 minutes by bus.

Three adults presently occupy this space; one works from home (owner), one works outside the home (other roommate) and one is retired (owner), along with two cats and two miniature poodle/mixes - so we cannot accommodate any more pets!
