Looking for one roommate to take the third bedroom of this 3-bedroom house. The house is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Waterloo, with a grocery store, pharmacy, café, and several food spots/amenities just a few steps away from the property. Public transit, that operates two lines every 15 minutes, is less than a one-minute walk from the front door.

The common areas of the house are all fully furnished and just about all daily-use essentials, like pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. are all provided.

Utilities, internet, and parking for a single vehicle are all included in the total cost. (Note that while parking is included, snow removal during the winter months is the responsibility of the tenants requiring/using a parking space).

The third bedroom, pictured without any furniture, does come with a double bed, storage bed frame, bedside tables, and a few small, half-sized dressers if needed.

Bathrooms are shared, as there are only 1.5 bathrooms in the house.

There are currently two dogs in the home, a pair of Korean Jindos, who keep to themselves/lounge about the house just about every moment they are inside. Both are friendly, but have not had the social exposure of living with other pets, so while the listing does not state the house is pet friendly, additional pets are allowed assuming an initial meeting of the animals is amicable.

I work for a Civil Engineering Consultant here in Waterloo. Typically, I’m at the office 3 days a week, and work from home the other two. I spend most of my free time either at home keeping to myself, or out at the gym/walking the dogs. While at home, I tend to not be overly present in any of the shared spaces as I try to ensure people have access to them for whatever they need whenever they need it. I also travel north to visit family for several weeks at a time, so there are multiple occasions where I and the dogs are gone.

The other roommate is currently attending UW working on his PhD in Optometry. He is out of the house most days for the entire day or several days straight. Super friendly and loves a good conversation whenever he’s around.
