Central Upper Lonsdale on a quiet street, two blocks from Lonsdale restaurants/ shops/ groceries, public transit (5m walk to 240 to downtown, 239 to seabus/ skytrain), and parks and green forest walks. Three-storey detached heritage house in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. The room is on the main floor, with a window facing east. Furnished with twin bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, clothes hangers, sofa-chair, desk with chair, and shelving. Shared living rooms with TV/ Xbox, gym area (strength & stretch + rowing machine), fully equipped kitchen & laundry, dining room, extra storage (garage/ attic). Large and beautiful front and back yard with multiple outdoor seating areas/ barbecue on a sunny and tended property. You can join us to grow some of your own plants or vegetables in our yard. Free parking on the street, access to bike/ garage storage if needed. Utilities included (high-speed internet, gas & hydro). No smoking, overnight stays or parties.

We are looking for someone that is collaborative, caring and prefer someone that would like to become a part of our wonderfully quirky chosen family. Finding the right fit is a priority over dates and $. #1: 52 y/o working partially from home (mental health). Bilingual (Swedish/ English). Hobbies include playing pickleball, choir, dance, camping, kayaking. #2: Two high school students (16 y/o), hobbies include soccer, video games. #3: Two large dogs (Bernese/Collie and Boxer/Retriever). (One of our dogs can be reactive to other pets, so if you have one we would have to assess fit!) We mostly eat home-cooked meals, and take turns doing the daily chores. We prefer someone who would enjoy sharing this lifestyle. Possibility to extend beyond first year if we all enjoy the arrangement.
