Garden level (one step down from walkway) of house. Dunbar/West 20th, so right on bus route (#7 to downtown, #25 to UBC or connect to Skytrain), street parking, bike storage in garage. Walking distance to shops, library, community center, forest trails, Jericho Beach. Biking distance to UBC. Vegetarian household so please, no meat cooking. Scent sensitivity so unscented or organic products, i.e., not artificially/chemically-scented.

Share kitchen and bath with one (French professional baker, 28-year-old male); he’s very friendly, very clean and well-used to living in shared houses. I am a female living on upper level with a few pet rabbits – so a quiet house. I’m serious about recycling, living as close to zero waste as possible, volunteer at a recycle depot and the local rabbit rescue. Like to share home with those who share some values – it’s nice to be able to have a conversation once in a while even though we all have busy lives. For 20 years I have shared my home with mostly foreign students/researchers/post-docs so used to making people feel welcome.
