If you’re looking for a quiet, drama-free home where you can relax after work or school, keep reading because we are looking for a great new roommate to join our relaxed and respectful household in Burnaby.

A couple of our roommates are moving on to new opportunities: one is heading into BCIT campus housing and another has completed a UBC work placement and another is heading back to England. We’ve filled 2 of the 3 rooms with some awesome new folks coming in September and looking for 1 more great person for either Aug 15 or Sept 1. Room choice will be dependent on move in date, pics of the two options in the photo section.

This is a great situation.

The house has a calm, easy-going atmosphere where everyone respects each other’s space and enjoys having a comfortable place to come home to.

Most of us work, study, train, or have busy schedules, so while we’re friendly and social, we’re not a party house, we often don’t even see each other despite five people here .

It’s the kind of place where you can: • Relax after work • Focus on school • Watch a movie • Play some games • Read a book on the patio • Enjoy your hobbies without unnecessary drama

The household is reasonably tidy and respectful of shared spaces. We’re not obsessive clean freaks, but everyone does their part.

The room is intended for a single occupant.

Partners visiting occasionally are completely fine.

However, the household is not a suitable environment for children due to the study and work schedules of the people living here.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 WHO YOU’D BE LIVING WITH

We’re a mix of working professionals and students ranging from our early 20s to early 40s. Everyone has their own interests and schedules, but we share a common appreciation for a respectful, low-drama, and comfortable home environment.

🏞️ David (Me) 40M I work for the City of Burnaby in the Parks Department. Outside of work you’ll usually find me training for competitive dodgeball, working out, gaming, spending time outdoors, working on entrepreneurial projects, or enjoying a coffee on the patio.

✍️ 38F Works in health and wellness as well as catering and events. Friendly, courteous, hardworking, and upbeat. Enjoys writing and possibly taking this passion to the next level by taking classes for writing for film.

🌲 24F International student from Brazil. In her last year of a bachelors degree at Capilano university for the film industry. Chill, fun, and likes hikes, hot yoga, and trying new things. Can also make some pretty great Brazilian sweets.

🌍 29M From Toronto and works in film as a writer and voice actor. Loves cooking at home cook and plays DnD on Sundays.
