We currently have our upstairs room available, and the contract is month-to-month. The house is spacious with storage and communal space. The upstairs bathroom is shared with another roommate upstairs. The communal space is very spacious and furnished. Your private bedroom has a closet, shelving, and windows. The current photos on this listing are not up to date; the colours and decor have changed. The kitchen and family room are communal. The house includes a parking space and laundry facilities. It is a beautiful big house with a deck/patio, garden, and barbecue. The house is a two-minute walk to a bus stop, and a Grocery store is around the corner. It is a minute’s drive to Lonsdale Ave, an 8-minute drive to Grouse Mountain, and a 5-minute drive to Lynn Valley. We want individuals who are active members of our household and value a communal living space with its occupants. This person is willing and able to take on the responsibilities of sharing a home. We also value everyone’s free time and space. We only open our doors to trustworthy, responsible, honest, and integral people. I grew up in this house, and I have created an international communal home that I have been running since 2019. This is a place where we all feel like a family together. There are currently 6 people in the house. We try to keep the dynamic as an equal co-ed space. Our age range is between 30 and 38, and we would like to find someone within this age range also. We all like to connect via shared meals, movies, games, social gatherings, outings, and even with our chores. Everyone supports one another. This is more than just filling a room and paying rent. We personally believe that community living is super important, especially living in this big city. It is easy to become disconnected socially and lose a purpose with people. This is why we have chosen this style of living together. We understand that it is also not for everyone, so that is why we have a month-to-month rental agreement for both parties to decide if this works for us all. We have a cute cat living with us named Sushi and he is the house mascot :) He takes care of us TBH!
