About the roomies
I’m self-employed in music management and marketing, and I work from home (so I’m home a lot). Originally from Toronto, I’ve lived in Vancouver and London, England. My work takes me to Ireland for several weeks most years. Montreal has been my home for a long time.
I’m mature, but young at heart, quiet, friendly, and welcoming. Although I’m sociable, I also like doing my own thing. I love music (headphones if you prefer), crocheting & sewing, upcycling, and board games. I love a good bargain, have a little bulk buying circle, and am into food preservation (canning, freezing, dehydrating). I don’t smoke, but it’s fine if you do (outside, please.) I’m not a fan of the smell of pot and prefer no other drugs in my home. The neighbours upstairs/downstairs/sides are quiet, so mutual respect to keep noise down is appreciated.
I am currently hosting a foster cat named Capitain Chonk. He’s a lovebug and a very sweet boy.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone 25+ coming to Montreal to work on their Master’s, PhD, or on a contract and wants a quiet place to call home for a term or a few months. Common area chores, inside and outside, are shared.
The room is available from May 1, 2026 to December 2026, but shorter is fine too. Longer than December can be discussed, but I’m not looking for a permanent roommate. A half-month deposit is required.
