Beautiful Home – Private Upstairs Living Space

Located near St. Clair Avenue West and Runnymede Road, this home is conveniently situated close to bus stops with connections to Runnymede, Keele, and High Park Stations, grocery stores, and a great neighbourhood coffee shop right on the corner. A small park is also located directly across the street.

You will have exclusive use of the upstairs rooms: a bedroom and a spacious living/work area, and the upstairs bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen has basic dishes, pots, pans, flatware, toaster, microwave, etc. Laundry facilities are available on the main floor for your use (coordinated use/times). Other common areas of the house are not included in the rental, however, there is a shed if needed for bike storage.

The rooms are semi-furnished with a queen bed, couch, desk, and wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The rooms are bright and sunny, with plenty of closet space for clothing and storage. There is also a small walk-out deck off the shared kitchen.

All utilities and Wi-Fi are included. Street permit parking is available.

Your privacy will be respected, and you can enjoy your own comfortable, private upstairs space. We simply ask that you are mindful of noise, keep the rooms clean, take good care of the property, and leave the space free of damage.

We’re a professional couple in our 50s who are friendly, easygoing, left-leaning, and enjoy a peaceful home environment. We’re clean, respectful, and proud owners of two dogs, so it’s important that you’re comfortable around dogs—and that they’re comfortable with you.

We both work from home and are home quite a bit, although we also enjoy travelling. We appreciate a quiet, relaxed household, with the usual sounds of everyday living, dog barks, and the occasional visit from friends or family.

We’re friendly and approachable, happy to say hello, chat about your day, or invite you to join us for a meal from time to time. At the same time, we respect everyone’s privacy and independence, and we’re not looking for a roommate who needs to socialize regularly.

We’re hoping to find a trustworthy, tidy, clean, and considerate person who values a peaceful living environment and will treat our home with the same care and respect that we do.
