Looking for TWO (2) roommates for September 1st to live with me in my bright and spacious 3bdrm 1bath ground floor apartment with great access to public transit. Short walk to Heron Transitway bus station and O-Train Line 2 at Mooney’s Bay - 30 minutes to downtown, 15 minutes to Carleton University. Nice backyard - nature everywhere. Parking included. Grocery stores and restaurants nearby at Billings Bridge and on Bank Street. Both rooms unfurnished.

I’m a 26 year old male young professional who graduated from Carleton in 2023 with an MA in international affairs. I’ve lived in this unit since 2021 and have realized I can basically never leave even with a decent salary because the market is crazy. But there are worse fates I suppose. This rent-controlled place offers great value allowing me to save money and the landlord has promised to remodel the kitchen this month - things are looking up. I think I’m going to be living here for a long time, but it only makes sense with roommates. Fortunately I’m very easygoing and respectful and am happy to share (as if I had a choice, but still).

My current two roommates are moving out as they’ve finished their educations and are leaving town this summer. I’m looking to replace them with other easygoing people I can be myself around. Happy to socialize but I can also entertain myself. I don’t spend a lot of time in the living room right now because my room is big and there is not currently much of an entertainment setup in the living room, so you could make that your primary hang-out or work space if you like. I respect boundaries and appreciate straightforward communication if any issues do arise. Ideally I’m looking for people with similar hobbies who wouldn’t mind. Other hobbies of mine include PC gaming, going outdoors, learning Arabic on duolingo, and searching for the best takeout in the city. Let me know if you think we’d get along and we can discuss more.
