Hi! We live in a charming vintage apartment, super spacious, 4 blocks away from the mountain (south-eastern mile-end, at the edge of plateau mt-royal), and we’re looking for a new roomie as of July 1st (or earlier in June if desired!) 930$ includes all bills + insurances (see below for details)

The bedroom looking for a soul is mid to large size, super sunny, with a large window facing west (backyard + alley, so no cars). The decoration has been changing from a roomie to another… the pics show the two latest versions: one with a twin bed, the other with a queen size bed, since you may choose one or the other: either the queen size bed (less than 1y old, ikea), or a super good quality twin bed (made locally, 3y old). Bedroom also includes night table, desk and chair. Small wardrobe in the room. (We can figure something out if you got your furniture and can guarantee it’s bed bugs free.)

The whole apt is just awesome to live in, especially if you’re fond of aesthetics : plaster work of origin all over the ceilings and upper walls, original bricks wall in the kitchen, original cupboards… a beauty.

We have a gorgeous sunny balcony, private, and full of greenery at the back: alley, so no cars, super chill.

Smoking outside is ok.

The whole apt is fully furnished and equipped, but we’re super open for someone bringing in some of their style!

Extra bedroom (with no window, hence called ‘the grotto’, not shown here), so we can host friend/family member on visit (sleeps one). Also open to be converted in something else if relevant to you (an art studio, a dark room for photo, an office… you name it)

Bathroom and toilet are separate (quite convenient in a shared apt).

Rent is 930$ ALL INCL; rent, electricity (heating, hot water, etc.), high-speed unlim. wifi, insurances (belongings + civil responsibility).

Adorable and reliable owner (our friend) living upstairs, with whom we don’t risk being evicted, nor the rent being raised (been the same for 3y+). Him and other neighbors: super nice vibe! We share tools, ladders, vegetables and whatever one needs…

Bus 51, 55, 80 super close, and Laurier metro station at 7-8 min walk (or 2-3 min with bus 51). Less than 25 min commute from all universities (or 12-20 by bike). Bike-friendly neighbors so we can park our bikes easily along the sidewalk (or up on our balcony), and it has shown safe! It’s the 2nd floor of 3 (sadly, the stairs are not the best for accessibility: only practicable on feet).

Dogs welcome!!! And we know for sure that the apt owner is ok :)

Looking for someone mid or long term, but of course life brings plenty of surprises, so no pressure. Our roomie is leaving for June 30th (possibly before if needed).
