The property is located in the Old East Village, within walking distance to markets, Kellogg’s Factory, Junction Rock Climbing Gym, as well as multiple breweries, bars, and restaurants. Public transportation is available, with a 30-minute travel time to Western University and 23 minutes to Fanshawe College’s main campus—a 10-minute Uber ride to downtown, where festivals and entertainment events take place. The room for rent is located on the second floor and faces west, with windows overlooking the street. It also includes a walk-in closet. Shared spaces include the bathroom, kitchen, and loungeroom, with a large window opening to the east that lets in morning light. Street parking is available; however, it may be more convenient for those who do not have a car. (Public transport is available in the area, which helps mitigate this inconvenience.) If someone needs furnishing, we will provide (single bed, table, chair); otherwise, the room is empty. The photos shown are from the previous tenant. LGBTQ+ friendly household. One male roommate who is quiet and respectful. He works in an aged care facility and, as such, has different rostered schedules and is currently also studying. He is respectful of others’ space and is, for the most part, introverted. He has been my housemate in a previous apartment and lived with me for 2 years before moving into this address.
