One finished second-floor room available in my four bedroom house. Rent is for one person in one room. There are three rental rooms in total that share a bathroom with other student tenants. Rooms are private. Two rooms have a set of double doors between them that are currently covered over. If desired, they can be opened for shared studying, socializing, watching movies together etc. Shared use of the laundry (on the landing outside the bedrooms), kitchen, deck, etc.

Purple room (twin bed) and green room (double bed) are currently rented for $700 while the blue and grey (queen bed) rents for $750.

I am a mature woman whose bedroom is on the other side of the house from my student renters. Two years ago I opened my home to my first nursing and co-op students and then word spread–I’ve had eleven so far, most by word of mouth recommendations. :) I live a quiet life but my BIG DOG can be a bit loud until she knows you better–giving her cookies helps a LOT. If you are not confident around dogs, this would not be a good fit. She loves her people once she’s decided they can be in her pack. For this reason, no other pets are allowed.

As for rules, in my house it’s no smoking of ANY kind, clean up after yourself, be respectful of one another’s privacy and schedules, and be kind to my dog. Beyond that, make yourself at home. That simple. :)
