We are looking for a roommate from April 1st 2026 onwards. Your rent would be $1000/month, and includes utilities, internet, and a parking spot underground! Groceries are bought separately, and household items (cleaners, garbage bags, toilet paper etc) are shared expenses! Landlord prefers a minimum 6 month lease.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT:

• Second floor apartment. The apartment has an elevator. There is a ramp into the building at the main doors, as well as stair & no stair exits into the parking garage / dumpster area

  * Your room can comfortably fit a queen size bed, desk & dresser. You have a closet, and a window with a windowsill deep enough to display trinkets on! Also has baseboard heating and a ceiling fan. The bedroom is NOT furnished, but we could discuss semi-furnishing it for the right fit.

  * By my best measurements, the bedroom is 15 ft x 9ft, NOT including the closet or the “entry” bit of the room. Closet is roughly 5ft x 2ft

  * Shared living area. The living room is furnished, but we’re happy to try to work in some furniture pieces that you love!

  * Shared kitchen. Galley kitchen with microwave, full size dishwasher, full size fridge and oven. Also access to our small appliances (air fryer, instapot, rice cooker etc) if you’d like!

  * Shared main bathroom with tub/shower (it’s unfortunately a bit shallow). Most of the storage in the main bathroom is yours, as we have a half bath off of our bedroom.

  * We have a balcony that is pretty long. We don’t use it much as of the moment, so there is plenty of space if you have plants or like to sit outside.

  * The apartment is no smoking, but there is a public park right next door that my partner and I frequent to smoke.

  * Unfortunately we’re not supposed to have any more pets, but we can discuss accommodating something like a reptile. Properly maintained fishtanks are fine.

  * One parking spot in secure underground parking.

  * Card laundry on the same floor. $2/wash, $2/dry. There is also a laundromat within walking distance.

  * We’re near grocery, restaurants, transit and parks. Also very close to the highway and park & ride. About 15 minute walk to transit.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We would love to find a housemate that we can be friends with, share the occasional meal with, have game nights or whatever else suits! We love to socialize, but also value personal space and time to unwind. We also enjoy having company over. It’s been a lifelong mission to make our home a sanctuary for all, you included!

Must be comfortable with cats, as our sweet kitty is very social and loves people.

Ideally we’d love someone independent, communicative, and kind. Open and mature communication is very important to us.

Very 420 friendly, and we smoke cigarettes / vape. It is a Non-Smoking building but we do vape inside. Preference to someone who isn’t a heavy drinker for recovery reasons.

Two friendly queer, nonbinary individuals and a cute, sweet black cat. We value personal space, calm and welcoming environment. Both disabled, neurodivergent and unemployed currently. We love socializing, enjoy sharing a meal or playing a game now and again.
