Looking for a Third Roommate – South Granville / Kitsilano

Hi everyone! My roommate and I are looking for a third roommate (Female, preferable in your 20’s or 30’s) to join us in our beautiful home in the South Granville / Kitsilano area.

Rent: $1,250 and deposit $600 (ground-level) Month-to-month Lease

Utilities: Included (Except Internet split 3 ways, roughly $21 per person)

Room includes: Shared Bathroom with one other person. Landlord allows one cat with pet deposit

Move-in: September 1st. . House details: This is a 3 bedroom and 2 bathroom house with a large living room, brightly lit breakfast nook, well-kept kitchen, very clean bathrooms and access to a backyard/patio.

The living room, kitchen, breakfast nook and the room we are renting out are located on the ground-level. The 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms are downstairs in a basement level. . Location: Near 13th and Burrard Street. Quiet street near the 16, 09, 99 and 33 bus lines to UBC, downtown and Broadway.

House amenities: In-building laundry (coin operated), bike storage, lots of natural light, serene backyard, beautiful walkable and quiet neighborhood.

A little bit about us.

Amanda (Female, age 30) Originally from San Diego, California and has been living in Vancouver for 2 years. I am a recent UBC MFA graduate currently working as a sessional professor and a barista at a ceramic studio. I enjoy traveling, spending time with my friends and going to art exhibitions.

Felix (26, he/him). I am from the UK and currently work as a bartender at a cool little cocktail bar in Mount Pleasant😎. I am very passionate about film and would eventually like to pivot my career towards the arts, but I am in no rush as I’ve only been in Vancouver for 9 months. I am super clean, tidy and respectful of others. My friends say I’m very chill and laid back. I’m about 50/50 introvert to extrovert; I love a good night in watching a movie or reading as much as I also love to hang out with my friends or go hiking on my days off. And I definitely have a personality outside of being British, I promise!!🤓

What We’re Looking for in a Roommate (Female, preferable in your 20’s or 30’s)

We’re looking for someone who is clean, friendly, and responsible. We really value our home and take pride in keeping our shared spaces tidy, organized, and comfortable for everyone. We all take turns with the trash, keeping shared spaces cleaned and buying shared household needs.

Ideally, we’d love to find someone who is also a bit of a night owl and doesn’t work from home, as that tends to fit best with the household’s rhythm. We welcome people from all backgrounds and are LGBTQIA2+ friendly! We are happy to have overnight guest if friends, family members and partners come to visit. We enjoy watching a movie with a glass of wine, sharing a meal, or doing the occasional outing. Over the past year, we’ve made this house feel like a true home by hosting Halloween parties, summer get-togethers, dinner parties, and game nights. We’re hoping to find someone who will enjoy being part of that welcoming atmosphere and make a great addition to our home.
