Geoffrey's room

Furnished or unfurnished master-sized 16x16 ft bedroom in newly custom-built house. The room is big enough for a sleeping, sitting and working/office area with an oversized closet. Private balcony with 8x10 ft sliding glass doors. Share 1.5 bathrooms and huge kitchen with 2 other tenants. Shared laundry onsite. The house is art filled and designed for natural light and air flow. It is absolutely an ideal atmosphere for study, reading and writing as it was designed to enhance concentration and productivity. All rooms are insulated for sound (the upper family area is soundproofed) and do not even share ductwork. There are secondary crank windows aside from the patio doors. It is also designed to be low maintenance, easy cleaning and fairly resilient to wear and tear. The house is a single family seven bedroom (only 4-6 will be occupied). It is landlord occupied; we live on the top floor without our own facilities (kitchen baths etc). We are therefore an immediately responsive landlord.

a grad student soon to begin PHD, a social worker and 2 reasonably well controlled children ages 3 and 8. A relatively chill, somewhat studious although at times energetic atmosphere is maintained. We are reliable, reasonable and not greedy and thus will be seeking the same for what will hopefully be longer term agreements. Emotional maturity is required as is the ability and willingness to perform a fair share of scheduled housekeeping tasks.
