About the room
This flat is located two blocks from Rue Wellington in Verdun, recently voted by Time Out Magazine the coolest street in the world! If this is a little hyperbolic, Verdun is undeniably lovely. It is peppered with world-class restaurants and cozy neighborhood bars – as much charm and trend as the plateau but with more of a local touch. My personal draw to the area is the river, where you can swim in Verdun beach or enjoy wonderful river-side walks where you feel a million-miles from the city.
The flat is a new build two-bedroom with open planning, hard-wood floors, air-conditioning and a balcony. The bedroom comes with a queen-size bed, lamp, and cupboards.
7 minute walk from LaSalle Metro, around 10 minute walk from De l’Église.
If I might say so myself, the flat and bedroom are also all very homely!
About the roomies
I am a PhD student studying English Literature at Concordia, originally from the UK. My partner and I spent the last year living in this apartment together but she unfortunately has had to move back to the UK; so I am now looking for a flat mate! Because of this change, I will be spending a fair bit of time back in the UK–so any new flat mate will have very often have the place to themselves.
A bit more about me—cleaning after myself is my cardinal rule of shared living. I am also a social person but one who respects other people’s boundaries and privacy.
