⟦ Location ⟧ Nestled in the heart of Osprey Village, this property is just a 5-minute walk from the picturesque riverside trail, ideal for peaceful walks and scenic views. Enjoy the convenience of a small shopping strip nearby, featuring a café and restaurant, nail salon, hair salon, dog hotel, and community center (all on the small shopping strip that is within 5 mins walk away from the property). Plus, the bus stop is only a minute away, ensuring easy access to the surrounding area.

Your private bedroom features a narrow twin size bed suitable for 1 person (bed is long enough to fit a person up to 6’2” (188cm) in height). It has a 2-inch medium firm mattress with a 2-inch cooling memory foam mattress topper on top of it for maximum comfort!
If you’re traveling with a companion, we can provide a comfortable 6-inch, three-fold medium-firm floor mattress. This space is ideal for one guest, but if you have a second guest who doesn’t mind crashing for a night or two on a floor mattress, it’s an option as well. While the space may feel snug having two people, storing the floor mattress away during the day will maximize roominess, making it a viable option for accommodating a second guest. The space is thoughtfully designed in a bohemian style, offering a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Located in a safe neighborhood with well-lit streets and walkways, you can feel secure at all times. The property boasts a separate entrance for your privacy.
⟦ Bathroom Facilities ⟧
Enjoy the convenience of an in-suite half bathroom. If you need to shower or take a bath, arrangements can be made with the host to use the full bath upstairs. You can either set a fixed time each day for access, and we’ll ensure it’s available to you during that specific time every day, or you can opt for a different time each day. The full bathroom is basically dedicated to you, unless there’s another guest that booked the other room during your stay, then it’ll be shared.

Equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine, small cooling/warming fridge, portable stove/ electric hot plate, cooking pot, bowls, dishes, utensils, and more. The kitchenette has everything you need for preparing light meals and snacks. (No oily/heavy cooking).

In-suite washer and dryer make laundry a breeze. There are also an iron + ironing board available. Please notify us before using them.

Relax in the shared, fenced-off backyard for you to enjoy.
⟦ Host and Environment ⟧
Please note that the host’s family includes two young children, so expect some playful noises sporadically throughout the day until around 9:30 or 10pm. Your space is located on the main floor so you will hear the daily living sounds made by the family but we will try to keep it down as much as we can. Additionally, you may hear piano practice for about three hours each day, sometimes in the evening too. If you are an early sleeper let us know :). Quiet time is from 10pm to 7am.

***Please note that it’s meant for one person to comfortably enjoy the space, any extra person/bed will make the space feel tight. However, if you don’t mind the squishiness with your companion and the extra mattress, then you’ll be fine!

Osprey Village is relatively close to major highways. It is situated near the Lougheed Highway (Highway 7), which provides access to other parts of the Greater Vancouver area. Additionally, it’s not far from the Golden Ears Bridge, which connects to Highway 1, the Trans-Canada Highway, offering further connectivity to surrounding regions.

This private room shares a thin wall with the host’s living room, so you may hear sounds from daily activities. If you’re seeking complete privacy and quietness, this may not be the best fit for you.

For the safety and security of all our guests and property, we have two security cameras installed outside- one near the entrance and one in the backyard. This is a common practice in many Airbnb listings to help monitor and deter any unauthorized access or suspicious activity. Please note that the camera is only positioned to cover the exterior entryway and does not record any indoor or private areas. Your comfort and privacy are very important to us.
We are a family of 4 + a dog. We have three rooms used as rental, so sometimes there’ll be more than just us.
