Hi Vic! I’m looking for a new roommate to share my home with me and my son. 🛏 What is “1.5 bedrooms”? Great question! 1 bedroom just for you Plus a second bedroom that can be shared as a work space / art room / gym OR you can rent both rooms exclusively for yourself (OR just rent the single bedroom, not preferred though).
Rent options: 1.5 rooms – $1300 + split utilities 2 rooms – $1600 + split utilities
🏡 About the House Located in Strawberry Vale on a quiet dead-end road. 20 minutes to downtown 15 minutes to Brentwood or Langford Close to nature: Thetis Lake, Francis King, Cordova Bay and plenty of walkable neighbourhood trails. Front yard + backyard + trampoline 😄 Surrounded by Garry oaks — lots of leaves, but lots of beauty and grounded energy too
Our current roommate is moving to a perfect 1-bedroom place. She used the upstairs room as an office and the downstairs room as her bedroom.
🛠 Bonus: Backyard Studio Coming Soon There’s a detached studio in the yard currently being renovated into a private bedroom with its own 3-piece bathroom. Expected completion: March.
🌿 The Vibe Looking for someone who: Values health and intentional living Likes a collaborative, friendly home Is comfortable living with a kiddo
Bonus: Has a well-trained, well-regulated dog (strongly encouraged!)
If this feels like your kind of home, reach out — we’d love to meet you.
About the roomies
👩👦 About Us My son Sorrel (who will proudly tell you he turns 6 soon!) and I are looking for someone who enjoys a warm, intentional home.
I’m in my early 30s, studying Chinese medicine and bodywork. I don’t drink or party. I love cooking, fancy chocolate, nature walks, and occasionally procrastinating. I value living well and having fun.
Sorrel is hilarious, goes to nature school on weekdays, and spends about 40% of his time with his dad (who is also lovely). He’s an easy kid to live with, and past roommates would vouch for that.
