This bright, top-floor corner suite is located in a quiet four-story building with an elevator, just two blocks from the cruise ships. It’s the largest unit in the building, full of natural light and charm. The fireworks can be seen from your bedroom window every year — a small Victoria tradition I never miss.
The space is cozy and welcoming. My seven-foot couch is so comfortable it’s practically part of the living room (it can stay if you like, or you’re welcome to buy it).
Parking is $50/month and currently wait-listed, but I have a spot, so my subtenant or “roommate” would have first priority. When I find my dream job in Calgary.
I’m open to several flexible arrangements:
Short-term or transitional stays while you find your perfect place
Weekly rentals at $275/week, with references and a one-week deposit
Longer-term stays negotiable depending on timing and situation
About the roomies
I’m divorced with two adult children and family in Calgary who are encouraging me to move home — though I still love it here in James Bay. I’ve lived in this suite since 2018 and have taken great care of it; it’s a peaceful home with a warm, welcoming feel.
My move will depend on how quickly I find work in Calgary, so I’m looking for the right person — someone responsible, kind, and communicative — to share or sublet the space, respect my property while I’m away. I’m very open to conversation, and everything is negotiable if it’s a good fit. All I need is to be able to accept a job when offered and give them 2 weeks for arrival. I have to keep the apartment for a number of reasons, but I’m not apposed to rented out both rooms (once I get a job offer).
