About the room
Hi, I’m looking for a young professional/grad student/upper year to share this spacious 2 Bedroom + 2 Bath + Den apartment on 978 Paisley with me. It is 1200 sq. ft. and features a full size kitchen, island, dining area, in-suite laundry, living room, bath with tub, open den, extra large windows, and a huge balcony.
Amenities in our building/complex include: 4 gyms, fitness and yoga studios with SPIN, 3 massive party rooms and social lounges, golf simulator, movie theatre, bike storage, dog park, guest suite, community garden, and free visitor parking.
This corner unit is located on the top floor of our building, in a safe, senior and family-oriented neighbourhood. Nearby plaza includes a variety of restaurants, a grocery store, banks, gas station, and Costco – all within walking distance. A 5-minute walk can take you to local parks, public library, community centre, and fire station.
The apartment is located on a main road with steady transit which can take you directly to the downtown core or to UoG, zero transfers. Outdoor and Indoor parking are available to rent from management should you drive as well.
Additionally, the unit is covered under tenant insurance against fire, water damage, theft, burglary, replacement, and more. The building also can be remotely opened via smartphone with the 1Valet app, smartphone as key fob like a Tesla, and video calling for visitors and deliveries with smart notifications.
Rent will be $1300/month not including utilities or internet which should be about $100 extra. Lease term is from now until September 2026, with possibility of extension. Start date can begin now or January 1st (i’ve already moved in). Feel free to ask me any questions about the unit or myself and I will be glad to answer as soon as possible. I also have a video walkthrough of the unit if you would like to see or we can schedule a viewing. Thanks!
About the roomies
A little about myself: I am a clean, tidy, and quiet individual who will be respectful of your time if you are working or studying. I am open to social activities and exploring the city of Guelph as I have just moved in to start my new job at Linamar. I enjoy biking, fishing, playing sports, modding cars, and grabbing coffees. I graduated from McMaster University last year from the Masters of Applied Science program and have lived in Hamilton for close to 10 years although I am originally from Toronto.
