About the room
This room is ideal for a single working woman or female student looking for a safe and comfortable home in downtown Toronto. The condo is in a clean, peaceful, and convenient neighborhood, with restaurants, supermarkets, clinics, banks, streetcars, the GO train, and bike rentals all just steps away. You can check the exact location here: RentNovus.com.
Your room is fully furnished with a twin bed, a slim desk, an armchair, a stool, shelves, mirrors, a built-in closet, and under-bed storage. Fresh linens, towels, a hair dryer, hangers, and a laundry basket are also available, so you can move in with just a suitcase. Your room comes with a private bathroom right next door.
The condo is a modern 2-bed, 2-bath unit on a high floor with a lovely view of Lake Ontario from the living room. I live in the master bedroom and enjoy hosting a roommate in the second bedroom. You’re welcome to use the living room, kitchen (including my cookware and dishware), in-unit laundry, and household items such as a vacuum cleaner, an iron, and a clothes steamer. I also rent a private storage locker in the basement, where you’re welcome to keep your suitcases, snowboards, or other bulky items.
The building is quite new (opened in 2020) and professionally managed. Amenities include a sky lounge, sky terrace, gym, study, co-working space with free coffee, theater room, meeting room, and secure indoor bike parking. PLEASE NOTE THAT SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY, INCLUDING BALCONIES.
The rent is all-inclusive—gas, electricity, water, internet, and essential supplies (toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, garbage bags, detergent, dish soap, and cleaning items). I’ve included everything to avoid monthly calculations. To finalize the sublet, I kindly ask for first and last month’s rent.
About the roomies
It will be just you and me living here. I’m a Japanese millennial woman working in corporate strategy at an IT company. I’m friendly and genuinely enjoy hosting. During my time as a student in the US, I lived with an American family, and I’ve cherished that experience ever since. I hope to carry a bit of that warmth forward, and that this place can be your home away from home.
My current roommate is a Canadian university student here for a six-month co-op term. She seems to enjoy her internship, make new friends, and have a full and happy time here. :)
