ROOM: We are offering a spacious room 13.25 m2/141.75 sqft in the desirable neighbourhood of Coldstream. The fully furnished room is in a large family home over 4 levels/floors. The bedroom is next to a fully remodeled modern bathroom with shower. It is shared with the other very clean and tidy female renter. There are plenty of shared living areas in the home. There is a main kitchen as well as a smaller kitchen area with sink, microwave & small fridge. Parking is available on the driveway and also the street.

INCLUDED: Included in the cost are utilities including water, gas, electric, WiFi, filtered drinking water, toilet paper, laundry detergent, washing up liquid.

TRANSPORTATION: There is a bus stop opposite Kalamalka beach which goes into Vernon. A walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. Buses to Kelowna & University (UBCO) leave from the college about 2.2km away. It takes about 7-10 minutes to drive to the hospital.

AMENITIES: The Rail Trail running along Kalamalka Lake starts not far from the beach if you like walking, cycling or cross country skiing on snow days. The Alpine centre, just 1.3km away has businesses such as a gym, hairdressers, book shop. If you like the outdoors Kalamalka provincial park is about 10 minute drive away, great for walking or cycling or picnics in the summer.

This room is likely to suit a student or working professional, someone who likes a quiet, friendly & calm environment & doesn’t mind the resident cat. Must be clean and tidy in shared areas especially the bathroom.
