Bright room in basement with walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom (own) available in Wildwood. (Used by previous occupants as the master bedroom/bathroom). Close to Edworthy Park and Westbrook train station. It is a 25 minute commute via transit if you work downtown. Beautiful fenced backyard. Flexible move in/out date.

I, 38f, have 2 cats (they will probably summer elsewhere and winter here). If you don’t keep your door closed, they will sleep in your room, and 1 in particular loves hanging out in your bathroom sink.

I work Monday- Friday downtown. I usually curl 2-3 evenings a week from September- April (and sometimes coach). From May to September I have dragon boat 1-2 times per week. I’ve also been going to game nights fairly regularly and I sometimes host. I’m open to trying new things and often do things with some of my dragon boat friends (like rumble boxing, festivals, or lunches/dinners out). I like reading and sometimes I binge watch TV.

I have been living alone for the last 4 years and I have been in this place since October. Hoping to alleviate my expenses a bit by getting a roommate but I am willing to wait for the right one. Hoping to find someone who will not awkwardly hide in their room all the time. Maybe we could go on an occasional walk together or do some other activity… it would be nice to have someone who feels at home and who I don’t feel like I have to tiptoe around (comfortable silence is okay too).
