Offering one bedroom in a Queer friendly four-bedroom house (The upper unit of a duplex). BIPOC inclusive. We recently moved upstairs from the basement unit, so the furniture is scarce at the moment but we will be upgrading soon.

Term: Long term at least 12 months. I am the lease holder

Location: St Clair West & Earlscourt.

Cost: $770 plus $30 wifi. First and Last required.

About the Space: There is a washer and dryer on site, access to a balcony and front porch. The unit is rent controlled & all utilities are included (except for wifi).The bedroom will be unfurnished. I’ve lived in this house since 2021.

Accessibility: This house has three floors, the kitchen is on the main floor and the bedroom for rent is on the ground floor close to the bathroom, and there are rooms in the attic currently occupied. There is laundry on site which is located at the side of the house, through a separate entrance. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. There’s a public park and a community centre with an outdoor pool about a 8 minute walk from the place. The 512 streetcar is a 5 minute walk that takes you right to St Clair West Station as well. This house is not wheelchair accessible.

Preferences: We’re quiet, clean, and very respectful of keeping noise to a minimum and are seeking someone that is like minded and able to keep up with house duties. We often like to go out semi-regularly on some weekdays and weekends but also appreciate down time alone. We want to create an environment that is comfortable, so that time in shared spaces is natural and stress free.
