Bright Room Available in Gordon Head – Looking for the Right Housemate
We have a bright, comfortable bedroom available in our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom house in Gordon Head starting July 1. It’s a quiet, relaxed home, and we’re hoping to find someone who is looking for a place that actually feels like home rather than just a place to sleep.
The house is in a friendly, low-key neighbourhood and has a shared living room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry on site. There are two bathrooms in the house.
Out back, there’s a sunny yard with space to relax, BBQ, and some garden boxes if you enjoy gardening (or want to try).
The room itself is a good size, with a big window, lots of natural light, and closet space.
We’re looking for someone who appreciates living in a clean, well-cared-for home and is willing to do their part to help keep shared spaces tidy. Everyone contributes to maintaining a comfortable environment, and we value consideration, communication, and mutual respect.
While we all have our own lives and respect each other’s privacy, we’re not looking for someone who wants complete anonymity. We’d love to find a housemate who enjoys occasional conversation, sharing the odd meal and being part of a friendly household. The home values kindness, inclusivity, and a sense of community.
Rent is $1,195/month plus 1/5 of utilities.
There’s off-street parking available, plus plenty of free street parking. The house is on the 12, 28, and 39 bus routes and is close to Gordon Head Recreation Centre.
The home is landlord-managed, but the landlord does not live on site.
Happy to show the place in person.
If this sounds like it could be a good match, send us a message and tell us a bit about yourself, what you do, and what you’re looking for in a living situation.
About the roomies
You’d be sharing the home with two working professionals—a 30-year-old Educational Assistant and a mortgage broker in their mid-30s. It’s not a party house; think quiet evenings, respectful shared spaces, and open communication. We enjoy a friendly, comfortable home environment where people are considerate of one another while still having their own lives and independence. The home also includes one friendly dog. We may be open to a second well-behaved dog for the right person and pet.
