About the room
1 Bedroom Available in 2-Bedroom Apartment – Little Italy / Kensington Market (Starting May 2026)
I’m looking for a roommate to take over the second bedroom in a spacious 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment starting May 1st, 2026 (a slightly earlier move-in can be worked out if needed).
The apartment is on the second floor of a small three-storey building, tucked right between Little Italy and Kensington Market—super lively, central, and full of great food and shops. It’s about a 2-minute walk to the 506 and 511 streetcars and roughly 10 minutes to Bathurst Station, so getting around is easy.
You’d have your own bedroom with a closet, and we’d share the bathroom. The unit has a good-sized kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, and a large island, plus A/C and heating in both bedrooms and the living area. Laundry is in the basement and shared with the rest of the building.
Rent is $1447.50 per month, plus utilities, which usually come out to around $80–$100 monthly (covering electricity, gas, and internet).
I’m currently on the lease and looking for someone to replace my previous roommate who moved abroad. This would be a month-to-month arrangement as an off-lease roommate, and I’m open to both short- and longer-term stays.
A bit about the vibe: I’m looking for someone responsible, respectful, and easy to live with. The space is LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming.
To move in, you’ll need proof of income and first and last month’s rent.
If you’re interested or have questions, feel free to reach out and tell me a bit about yourself!
About the roomies
A bit about me: I’m a 30-year-old queer cis-female and a working professional. I usually work 9–5, four days in the office and one day from home. I’d describe myself as friendly, easygoing, and understanding. I enjoy socializing, but I also value peace, quiet, and keeping the home clean and comfortable.
In my free time, you’ll usually find me out with friends, traveling, or catching a concert or movie. At home, I take care to keep the shared spaces organized and welcoming.
I’m hoping to find a roommate who shares a similar mindset—someone considerate, respectful, and comfortable keeping our shared spaces calm and tidy.
If this sounds like a good fit, feel free to send me a message with any questions or to introduce yourself!
