About the room
If you are looking for PRIVACY!, look no further, best floor plan layout I have ever seen in a condo, & was the main reason I purchased this one. Bedrooms & bathrooms are on far opposite ends of this large(1150 sq/ft) condo, with a long hallway, kitchen & living room inbetween both rooms. You would have your room with your own access to the balcony (great view), you would have your own bathroom just halfway down the hallway leading to your room. Underground parking available. On suite laundry, tons of kitchen cabinets, end suite on the 3rd floor, no people on either side or in front of this suite, like I said, very private, very quiet. Located close to EVERYTHING!, mill lake, sevenoaks mall, several well known good quality restaurants, grocery stores, all within 15 minute walk. Need bus?, sevenoaks mall bus hub is the the main junction in Abbotsford, mere minutes away on foot. Abbotsford hospital & university college of the Fraser valley 10 minute drive away. I don’t mind if you have a cat or maybe a small dog, that’s a person by person call for me with the potential tenant, pets would need to be in your room or room area most of the time, & with the cat cleanliness would have to be KEY, as I can’t stand the smell of uncleaned cat litter boxes. But I understand in this day and age it’s unrealistic to advertise places for rent and no pets allowed as most people do have pets, & again I am only considering it due to the floor plan layout of the suite, as any potential cat litter box smells would be in your bedroom or your specific area which is very far away from mine. There was only one other apartment that I saw with a floor plan layout where the bedrooms were not side-by-side. When I was looking to buy, however, whoever had the master bedroom would have to walk by the second bedroom in order to get to their bedroom, which was further down the hallway and on the left, in my suite, this is not the case, you would have complete and utter privacy. There would be no reason for me to be in your section of the apartment whatsoever and vice versa. Shared large kitchen , and even larger living space. Would prefer a female student. Or just a female who works full-time. In these specific circumstances,, I am willing to work on the rent price on a more individual basis and maybe lower the monthly rent on a more personalized level.But sorry guys for you. The price is the price. My tenant was in the process of moving out so that’s why it looks rather empty and she wasn’t quite done cleaning when I was taking the pictures so it will look a lot better by the time she has completely moved out. The bedroom again is unfurnished.
About the roomies
I am 46 years old, divorced 3 years ago & purchased this condo with my half of the proceeds once everything was done in court, I have 2 grown daughters (ages 21&23), both work in restaurants that are within a 5 minute walk from my condo so they stop by here & there & say hi, I am an automotive technician & work full time in the Fraser valley auto mall on mt Lehman Rd & work at a dealership in there. I’m a very laid back, easy going guy with a great sense of humor, I’ve been living alone for a while but my dad got very sick last year so I moved back into my parents place to help my mother care for my dad as he needed full-time medical care with the assistance of a nurse, in the meantime, I had stuffed all my belongings into my room and locked it and rented it out for six months as a one bedroom apartment.he passed in January so now I am looking to move back in to my condo and this time I figured why not put the spare empty bedroom and empty bathroom to use and rent it out to somebody. So that’s the story & here we are. I am in no hurry and I am definitely looking for the proper fit. I would definitely like proof of income. Let me know where you work how long you’ve been there and maybe a couple of references from past or previous landlords would be great.
