About the room

This bright, comfortable room has everything you need to feel at home. It comes fully furnished with a cozy bed, pillows, bedding, dresser, closet, and mirror — just bring yourself and settle in. You’ll have your own private bathroom, which is yours day-to-day, though it may occasionally be used if either of us has visiting guests, while I use the principal bathroom. The room is filled with beautiful natural light, creating a warm and relaxing space.

All utilities and essentials are included for easy, stress-free living. The home is located in a quiet, brand-new subdivision in Smiths Falls, within walking distance to the Cataraqui Trail — perfect for hiking, biking, and snowshoeing year-round. The neighbourhood is friendly and peaceful.

You’ll share the kitchen and main living space with me, and there is also a comfortable basement area that can be used as an additional sitting room with a TV. Upstairs, we have a lovely shared outdoor space that hopefully will be screened in and furnished as a relaxing patio — a perfect place to unwind.

About the roomies

A little about me and the home — I work from home and keep a fairly regular daytime schedule. I’m quiet, organized, and live a structured lifestyle. My work takes place in my garage studio, so the home itself stays calm and peaceful. I’m an artist and paint for a living, and I also own a horse, so I’m usually out at the barn about four days a week.

I share my home with three very friendly cats and one small, sweet dog — they are gentle, well-behaved, and part of the family. I’m new to Smiths Falls, so I live a pretty low-key lifestyle and enjoy a quiet, respectful home environment. I’m 54, single, and have no children.
