Single 1 person non smoker bedroom in a 2 bedroom scent free/low scent furnished apartment in a small 8 unit building. 2nd floor - the room is vacant now as I have been using it as a guest bedroom and workout space and it will stay vacant until the right person comes along. The room is available immediately, or maybe a little later if I feel you are the right fit.

Ideal for mature students/professionals in town for internships or co-op placements needing a furnished place with no lease for min 3 months. Much better set-up than AirBnB, and cheaper! Many Waterloo, McMaster, Mohawk and UofT grad students have rented here for 4+ months stays over the past 8 years for internships. Doctors doing residency and lawyers doing articling have also taken advantage of this location for its convenience. I’m a mature man, a motion picture technician, which means that for much of the time my hours keep me from being home much, though I also work from home sometimes, and have breaks between shows. 10 months of the year it may feel like you live alone. People are often surprised at my age. I act younger — my world interests and art background keep me young, I guess. I also love to travel.

All you need to move in is your suitcase. The room has tons of storage and makes a great room in which to study. This renovated apt is a simple place to live, well equipped for cooking including ensuite washer/dryer, dishwasher and upgrades too numerous to count, and located central to everything. Transit (HSR and GO) in any direction is a 10 minute walk away including a very fast bus to the airport (YYZ)

I have been living here for 10 years and it’s been by far the best rental I have seen. And no bugs! (Though we have a spring ant invasion which is dealt with within a week. I will leave the room vacant before I put in someone that does not have a professional lifestyle. You must come with references, and they will be checked. People that have never lived away from their parents won’t be happy here. I seek mature and stable individual. This is a great place to study as it is a quiet and respectful space. I use headphones when watching TV or music listening so as not to disturb my roommate, and expect the same of them. In room TV is from an apple box, so you will need apple headphones

I am a single male and the only person living here at present. If you rent the room we will be at the maximum. The building was gutted and renovated 10 years ago, so new-ish.

The bedroom is 10’x 12’ equipped with desk, stool, comfy chair, large dresser, huge closet space and single bed with brand new mattress, 32” Tv. $800/month, First & Last. 30 days notice required for move outs. Payment is by cash only - no cheques or e-transfers. Receipts provided.

Amenities: Hydro is included and works well — the air con in summer is a godsend

• West Harbour Go train 10 minute walk - train to Union Toronto hourly or less. I have even had grad students from UofT here as it’s cheaper than Toronto and quick to get into town and a quiet place to get work done

• Really well located on Hamilton Harbour with great 3 season views (when the trees bloom the view is gone but it makes for a nice forested feeling). If you like to walk in parks they are right outside your door with quick walking to RBG, Dundurn Castle and Cootes Paradise
• Includes all furnishings and cleaning supplies including linens and towels. You are on your own for toiletries including tp. You will have your own spaces in cupboards and refridge for what you eat. Strict policy about cleaning after eating in the kitchen, dining area. Respect.

The environment is very relaxed and respectful. All of the amenities make the apartment turn-key comfortable. The lifestyle here is that of a businessperson so a similar lifestyle is a must. Sorry no couples or service Industry however male female straight or gay please apply.

Sorry, no partiers. Overnight guests only by prior arrangement, and no Living room sleeping. Low sound between 10pm - 7am — building rules.

You’d be sharing with just ME. I work most of the time from late March to late october, and often travel the rest of the year. I use headphones for TV/music when roomates are present and the same is expected of you
