About the room
It’s a 3+2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house with a basement apartment that has a separate entrance. You would have a private room and be sharing the bathroom with one other person. There’s a large kitchen, living room, and dining room. There’s also a sunroom entrance and good size backyard with patio furniture, a bbq, and garden. We have a garage that is used as a home gym.
We’re located at Don Mills & Eglinton in a super convenient and well-connected part of the city. Transit is easy with multiple TTC bus routes nearby and the new Line 5 Eglinton running along Eglinton, making it simple to get across the city.
We’re just minutes from CF Shops at Don Mills, which has tons of restaurants, cafes, groceries, and shops — everything from quick bites to nice sit-down spots. There are also plenty of parks, trails, and green space nearby, so it doesn’t feel too busy or crowded.
It’s a great balance of convenience and a quieter residential vibe.
About the roomies
We’re a respectful, easygoing household. We all have different schedules so there’s usually someone awake at all times.
Amisha is the early bird who wakes around 6am. She’s a very fun person who has a lot of neat hobbies. She loves to get to know people and make new friends. Amisha works from home as a manager of fundraising and development for an amazing nonprofit that helps the homeless.
Kaitlynne is a night owl who can be awake as late as 4am. She works as a server at a restaurant. She enjoys being very spontaneous, but also values a calm and relaxing home. She’s considered the house manager and helps to keep things clean and in order.
Maria is a student working from home as an intern. She’s currently out of the country visiting family until September. She’s very kind and easy going. She loves visiting art galleries, museums, and attending cool events around the city.
We want someone who understand the importance of cleanliness, communication, and a peaceful environment. We’ve definitely built our home environment around the ability to be ourselves and not feel restricted.
We also have a professionally trained, well-behaved 2-year-old cockapoo named Milo. He’s hypoallergenic (non-shedding), friendly, affectionate, and used to being in a chill home.
In the basement unit is Armaan. He’s Amisha’s brother and Kaitlynne’s boyfriend. He’s a funny and spontaneous guy. He recently graduated from school and works as an uber driver. Occasionally he will come upstairs to watch a movie or visit, but mostly likes to keep to himself downstairs. A reminder: the basement unit Armaan occupies has its own entrance with a private kitchen and bathroom.
