🏠 Welcome to our comfortable, well-maintained home in the heart of Birchland Manor, one of Port Coquitlam’s most established and family-friendly neighbourhoods. Birchland Manor is close to shopping, services, schools, and recreational facilities — but nature is never far away.
The available room is on the upper floor and comes fully furnished with a double bed, dresser, mirror, night table, desk, and TV — everything you need to settle in comfortably from day one. The room includes a private ½ ensuite bathroom (sink, toilet, and mirror), with a full shared bathroom also available on the ground floor.
Common areas include a shared kitchen with a gas stove and electric oven, and a cozy living room with a TV.
📍 The Neighbourhood Small retailers, cafés, restaurants, and major grocery stores can be found at a commercial area at Prairie and Coast Meridian, as well as along the nearby Lougheed Highway. Along the Lougheed Highway at Mary Hill Bypass, you’ll find Costco, Home Depot, Save-On-Foods, and numerous other shops and services. The nearby Prairie Mall also features a Starbucks, Church’s Chicken, Dollar Store, and more. Within a 10-minute drive, you’ll find Coquitlam Centre shopping mall — the Tri-Cities’ largest — along with Superstore, Safeway, Pomme Organic Grocery, Save-On-Foods, gas stations, restaurants, and banks. For recreation, the Hyde Creek Recreation Centre is the hub for leisure activity, with a lap pool, leisure pool, water slide, sauna, climbing wall, gymnasium, racquetball and squash courts, and a weight and fitness room. The area also has a variety of walking and biking trails, and is surrounded by a nature reserve. Birchland Manor is also close to Minnekhada Regional Park, a sprawling reserve of forests, marshland, and stunning vistas across the Pitt River to the Golden Ears Mountains. 🚌 Getting Around Transit is right at your doorstep — bus stops for both eastbound and westbound service are located steps from the property. Buses run along Prairie Avenue and Coast Meridian Road, connecting to downtown Port Coquitlam and west to the Coquitlam Town Centre area, where you can transfer onto the Evergreen extension of SkyTrain serving much of Metro Vancouver. You can also connect to Port Coquitlam Station for the West Coast Express.

About the roomies
You’ll be joining a small, tight-knit household of three existing tenants — a male in his 20s, a male in his 40s, and a male in his 70s — along with your landlord, a female in her 60s who lives on-site. We’re a quiet, smoke-free household and have had the same tenants living with us for numerous years. We have family who lives steps away from the property and our community is very close.
The property is fully insured, equipped with a monitored alarm system, and has 24/7 outdoor surveillance — so you can feel safe and secure at home.
All prospective tenants are required to provide:

- Reference check
- Proof of income or employment
Deposit for the property is half month’s rent for the room.
