6 minute walk from Villa Maria on the Orange Line, 12 minute walk from Snowdon on Blue and Orange Line, steps away from a full sized IGA as well as a depanneur, a pharmacy, and many yummy food joints on Cote-St-Luc. Walking distance from Av Monkland and Rue Sherbrooke as well! Many frequent bus lines surrounding the area, an absolutely ideal location for commuting students in the heart of lovely NDG. The apartment includes a private balcony, as well as a shared backyard which the upstairs neighbours also have access to. The apartment itself is furnished with all kitchen appliances, TV, furniture etc., all that would be necessary is to furnish the bedroom which you would be occupying. The room is spacious and can comfortably fit a double bed, desk and dresser, with a fair sized closet and big beautiful window. The room does face the side of the house so it does get lots of natural light but the sunlight is not overwhelmingly bright. The rest of the house is filled with natural light and gets lots of beautiful sun. I am perfectly fine with cigarette and weed smokers so long as you don’t smoke in the house. The balcony is very spacious and furnished with lots of chairs. The upstairs neighbours own the building, they are friendly, quiet, and respectful, and maintain the property, shovelling and salting stairs, etc. nicely. Hydro and internet are separate costs but are rather reasonable. The lease terms are 1 full year, I am not looking for anything short term. The apartment includes private in-unit washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. No pets please! I am rather allergic :(
You will be living with me, Hannah! I am a 23 year old student at Concordia who will be entering into my final year of University in the Fall. I study full time during the week and work part time on the weekends, I am not home during the day all that much but in my little downtime I enjoy listening to music, drawing, journalling, discovering new films and tv series, and I’ve been recently getting more into baking! I also collect physical music formats (vinyl, CDs, cassette tapes) which I would love for you to enjoy so long as you respect my alphabetization system, lol! I consider myself extremely clean and tidy, and am looking for a roommate who is similarly clean and respects shared spaces. I have had experiences with roommates in the past, and as I am relatively busy, I am not looking to pick up after you all the time. If you can carry your own and manage shared responsibilities respectfully we should be a great match! I enjoy my alone time but am also friendly and social, and would love to find a roommate who I can enjoy this space with!
