About the room
Heyo!
Myself (24M)and my current roomie (23M) are looking for 2 new roomies for May 1-Sept 1. (Potentially longer if we renew the lease) as our 2 current roomies will be working out of city for the summer.
A little about the space:
- 4 bedroom 2 Bath
- Located in the heart of Windsor Park (5 min walk from U of A campus)
- beautiful character home with many quirks :)
- large backyard with picnic table, bbq, fireplace -back alley&street parking
- large outdoor screen room
- 2 rooms available: 1 on main floor (plant room) 1 in basement (2nd last and 3rd last photo) (photo is old however, since then the carpet got replaced with new carpet) basement room includes a semi private full bathroom.
Who are you: Ideally you’re M or F, 22 to 28, a student or young professional. Queer friendly (mandatory), an anti capitalist (preferably) and not allergic to cats (plssss we want a house cat). We’re hoping you would be excited to share social circles, household responsibilities and perhaps the odd (or regular, like I said we’re easy going) communal meal. Joining the house (The Nut House) means joining a family, where you, coming in, would have equal say in house hold matters :)
Rent: $700 plus utilities (we split evenly) Damage deposit: 1 months rent
About the roomies
A little about us: Me (Riley), I love photography (digital and analog), sports (vball, soccer, biking, climbing, skiing, etc.. you name it!) spending quality time with my friends, drawing, cooking. Id describe myself as extremely easy going, silly goofy, and I’m always down for a chat :) I currently work in occupational medicine however I’ll likely be returning to the U of A to study education come the fall.
I’ll give a quick description of Boggy (Roomie 2) as we need to get this post up online ASAP haha. Boggy is a very lovely lad. He is in his 4th year of nursing and we share very similar hobbies. However his latest hobby endeavours have been painting and video editing. Boggy is also very easy going. And if you’re nice to him he’ll cook you a fancy and delicious meal 😎
