The house is situated in Kerrisdale, near to bus routes that lead directly to UBC (approximately 30 minutes transit to the UBC bus loop), only a 5 minute walk to the amenities of 41st Ave. The house has a great backyard with a garden, and a gas stove for cooking. While the room is not furnished, we are happy to ask around the community to help source items that you might be missing.

There are currently 3 of us (two men and one woman) all from different countries and we are looking for one more roommate to join us. We’re all in our late 20’s/early 30’s and we’re generally pretty quiet and easy going. The house is connected with a local affirming church (lgbtq+ friendly, neurodiverse friendly, all around very accepting) and as part of our connection with this church, we volunteer with them each in our own ways. Anyone coming to live in the house is NOT expected to have or practice any particular faith, and we each come from separate backgrounds and religions (or lack thereof). With that said, anyone interested in living here should be comfortable with both the queer community and with meeting and talking with the people from the church. Again, there is no requirement for anyone to believe or practice any religion, just to be kind to others. We are trying to get involved in some community oriented work such as helping with charity drives, helping to organize a craft fair, and participating in community meals.
