The apartment is in a really good location, about a 1-minute walk to Laurier, 12 minutes to Waterloo campus, and a 5-minute walk to nearby restaurants. It’s been newly painted and is clean and well-kept. There’s in-unit laundry (washer and dryer), a new microwave, a dishwasher, and two full-size fridges, so there’s lots of space for everyone. There’s also a patio and a backyard seating area, which is really nice in the summer. Overall, it’s just a really convenient and comfortable place to live.
We’re a group of university students who are pretty easygoing and respectful. The house is a mix of people and both men and women are welcome. We’re social but not big partiers, so it stays fairly quiet. Everyone gets along well, but people also keep to their own routines, so it’s a nice balance of friendly and independent. We’ve had subletters before, so we’re used to having someone new in the house and making it feel comfortable.
